You will be working closely with a great team of people with many years’ industry experience who are supportive, collaborative and very inclusive.

***this is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week on site in our Capenhurst office (CH1 6ES) and potentially additional days as and when the business requires***


About the role:
To support the HR Team in the provision of high quality, efficient and professional HR service through effective administration of HR and payroll systems, processes/procedures and by providing an advisory service on HR related matters to Line Managers and employees.
• To provide an effective HR administrative service across the employment lifecycle
• To act as first point of contact within the HR Team on HR employment matters, policies and procedures and be the primary contact for any queries
• Involvement in recruitment activity from new employee requisitions sign off to onboarding of new joiners
• Maintenance of up-to-date job descriptions, preparing contracts of employment and carrying out new joiner HR inductions
• Responsible for monthly payroll processing and administration of all new joiners, leavers and payroll changes for existing employees, including provision of regular and year end reconciliation data for Finance
• Coordination of training including booking and payment for internal and external courses, maintenance of training records and accurate records database of suppliers and training programmes
• Maintenance of all HR and payroll records within Cascade and personal files/folders and upkeep of the HR shared drive
• Administration of pension and benefits including provision of data to relevant providers for annual renewals and updates when changes occur.
• Support rollout of changes to HR policies and procedures


What we’ll need from you:
• Relevant HR experience ideally within an engineering or technical industry
• Experience in HR administration and understanding of HR processes
• Experience of managing end to end payroll input and processing
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Able to deal with and respect confidential information
• CIPD qualification or working towards
• The ambition to progress and grow within the HR function
