Main Responsibilities:
• SQL Server Administration
• SQL Server Development
• Problem solving for customer systems with some customer support
• Management of database schemes
• Software releases and management
• MS Azure cloud hosting management
What we’ll need from you:
• Experience with SQL server administration including managing servers, backups, system performance etc.
• SQL development skills, stored procedures, functions
• Experience in troubleshooting customer systems, tracking down issues especially with data interface
• Database scheme control ensuring commonality and consistency across systems
• Azure experience preferential; continuous integration and improvement, Azure functions, pipeline, DevOps and testing
• A strong communicator who works well in a team environment
• Dedicated to learning and development with a proactive attitude
• Precision and attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills
• A desire to adopt new techniques and improve the system and ultimately the customer experience
What we can offer you:
• Up to £38,000 basic salary DOE
• Company performance bonus
